Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie also known as Andra is an American R&B, soul and the singer/songwriter. She has won the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are among the numerous awards she's received. She was also selected for the Academy Award. Andra Day, a gifted artist and songwriter, with a strong background in blues, gospel and gospel who has a flair for the modern world is more than just an R&B throwback master. The ability she has to mix the influences of jazz, gospel and the blues into the R&B genre is impressive. Her debut album, Cheers to the Autumn (2015) she made it in to the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts and was awarded a couple of Grammy acknowledgements. In 2017, her contribution to Marshall's score was acknowledged by an Academy Award. Amen (2018) Amen (2018) Your Troubles (2020), and her Golden Globe-winning performance in Billie Holiday, in The United States against Billie Holiday(2021) are continuing to create anticipation for Day's second full album. Andra Day is born Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew up around San Diego and the metropolitan region. She sang in church and attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts. She shifted her focus from modern R&B to pop after graduating however, she was eventually again drawn to soul and jazz singers she had listened to as a child. Kai Millard Morris was able to see a live performance that Day gave and then returned to the studio with Day's tracks him. In turn, the Motown legend connected Day to music industry experienced Adrian Gurvitz. Day joined forces with Gurvitz's Buskin label and Jeffrey Evans' Buskin record company, grew a following on YouTube and signed by Warner Bros. in 2012. Day received two Grammy nominations for her album which included Best R&B Album. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album on the famous jazz musician's life was released in 2019. The United States against Billie Holiday was released in 2021. It was the same year she appeared as Holiday. Andi matichak (born on August 25, 1970) is an American actor. Her first appearance on television was in and appeared on shows such as Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods. Then she began her film debut by appearing in Halloween and its sequels as Allyson. Andi matichak is an American actress born in Framingham on 3rd May 1994.
