Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is an Mexican American performer, singer and actress. Her mom raised her in the USA and she was subject to numerous racial slurs that left her feeling like someone who was not wanted. She began to gain confidence during the 9th grade, when she entered a school audition. She received a lot of praise for her performance.
